JAMMERFAL’S MAY IN ROTATION LIST

So many good releases in May, a lot of metal to listen to but this time I only include one album released in May. This is my five most played albums last month.

Green Lung – Woodland Rites
Kozmik Artifactz – March 2019

When my friend Perro Juan recommended this album to exhaustion, I didn’t pay attention to him until last month, and when I become a little overwhelmed by so much new release, I decided to give it a try. And boy, was it worth it! A style that did not enter my most listened to but that was and is a great listen. Woodland Rites surprised me and entertained me for several days. Excellent stoner, doom with Ozzy`s Sabbath-style

Immortal – All Shall Fall
Nuclear Blast – September 2009

This album is awesome. I have listened on repeat this past month and I will be keeping listening to it. Flat and bored for some people but very rich and all-mighty for others and me, All Shall Fall is great for me.

You Suffer – You Suffer
Independent – August 2019

Another band from Norway but…. not a black metal band. They play a very good quality of death metal/deathcore and this is their first EP. Highly recommended metal release.

Imperialist – Cipher
Transcending Obscurity Records – October 2018

When you listen to Imperialist you hear a combination that perhaps did not seem possible at first, but in the metal world, we are already used to seeing mixtures of styles and concepts. Imperialist combines their black metal very well with the futuristic and spatial theme. There is no church burning here, no pagan rituals but there is such good black metal.
Cipher is an album that I never get tired of listening to and this past month it hasn’t stopped playing repeatedly in my playlists.

Sodomisery – The Great Demise
Testimony Records – May 2020

For me, Sodomisery just created a masterpiece. And I will put it among my favorites this year. It will be on the podium if something that hits me hard does not appear like this album did, which in my opinion is an absolute 10!
