I remember seeing the info about the first album “MMXX” released in 2020 by Transylvanian Tapes. But… Well, never heard it. So when I got the promo I remembered that, and decided to listen to.

Thanksfully I decided to listen to. It’s a good release to be honest. Not for all, well, I mean, I don’t know to many persons who likes this kind of music. What style? I will inform in a bit. Eheheheh

Looking to the cover and logo could be a few styles. Death Doom, OSDM, Traditional Doom or even Black Metal. It’s funnt that just looking to one image you can imagine a few things, depends of the point of view of each person.

So my audio discovering started after the play button pressed, and very fast understood to where I was going.

I was going into a very agonizing path. A very heavy one. A very dark and obscure one. Full of dark feelings. I didn’t care to be honest. I was feeling good at the same time.

Together with the audio discoring I was also reading the lyrics (thank for for adding it into the promo). With this litle but very import treat my path was getting even more dark. The (dark and obscure) feelings inside me were coming out. I felt good. It was one of the few times that I let them go out instead of fighting and try to laugh or smile.

It was so damn good, ’cause I had an amazing music at mine side.

The atmosphe created surround me while listening to the album was amazing, was personal, was intimate, was deep. Long time I didn’t listen to such a good Funeral album.

Yes that is the style of the band. But, this band is not a”typical” Funeral band. Why I’m saying this? Well, the vocalist don’t sing with a strong voice, and instead of that the voice could be a Black Metal vocal style. Very good indeed.

I advice you to listen to this album and the previous one too (I heard it too, eheh) 8/10 The Key Keeper 666
