Another week, another Tuesday. Like a few times before, our writers Julia Katrin and Tom Boatman don’t feel like wasting any time, so let us get straight to it!

So, let’s see what’s out there…

Band: Voivod

Into Canadian heavy metal? If you are, there just might be a treat heading your way this coming Sunday, June 27th, as Voivod plans on their live stream show where they will perform Dimension Hatross. For tickets you can head over here and of course you have to make sure not to forget about the group´s merchandise and goodies available.

Band: If Nothing Is

Originally released digitally in 2015, the debut, eponymous album by Norway’s If Nothing Is combines a variety of extreme and technical metal styles, producing a brew that may pickle your brain. Now Karisma & Dark Essence Records (who recently released the excellent new album by <code>) have announced a physical release is coming. The album will be available on limited double transparent vinyl and CD on September 10th and can be pre-ordered here

Band: Fawn Limbs

Speaking of music to pickle your brain in a sealed jar, Fawn Limbs, those purveyors of avant-garde grindcore insanity make their return on August 13th with their third full-length record Darwin Falls. As well as CD there’s a limited coloured vinyl edition you can pre-order here. For mathematical chaos, accept no substitute.

Band: Korgonthurus

And finally, Finland’s depressive black metal fireball Korgonthurus celebrate their 20 year journey as “Satan’s ambassadors” as they put it with a new EP “XX” out now on Woodcut Records. There are CD and vinyl options, as well as some cool bundles to choose from. Head over to bandcamp to see what’s on offer.

Another week, another seven days full of offers and activities to look forward to. So there really isn’t any excuse for us to sit and be bored, is there?
