Hello there,

Another week, another month. Yes, time is running and we do not notice it.

Hope you can enjoy my choices for today.

Band: Decayed
Title: Old Ghosts and Primeval Demons
Label: Lusitanian Music
Release date: 18 June 2021
Country: Portugal
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

Well… Decayed… The oldest Black Metal band in Portugal. Yes, they are related to the first wave of Black Metal. The new album and… Well… Nothing new to be honest. I compare Decayed to AC/DC… What? Yes. Eheheheh. I explain. “Oh, a new album, it’s good? Hmmm… It’s Decayed“. As you can see the same applies to AC/DC. lol. Not better or worst. It’s Decayed… And I love the band.

Band: Irae
Title: Dangerovz Magick Zpells from the Mesziah of Death
Label: Signal Rex
Release date: 21 June 2021
Country: Portugal
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

Knowing this band since the first release, seeing it live many times it is very good and you can “understand” the evolution of the same and… In my opinion, this release is good, I notice some slight differences made but Irae still brings to us the “traditional” Irae sound. It’s is a very good release in my opinion, and if you don’t know this band you should check it now.

Band: Gorgon
Title: Traditio Satanae
Label: Osmose Productions
Release date: 11 June 2021
Country: France
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

Formed in 1991 and is one of the pioneers of the Black Metal scene and they are a cult band, at least in my opinion. But at the same time, they didn’t get the correct/deserved “respect” from the underground. I don’t have all the releases from the band, no I don’t have but what I have is with pride and supporting them and labels. They deserve it. The previous album released in 2019 was good in my opinion and this one, well. Is the continuation of it. It’s fast, brutal, and melodic, good structured songs, good sound production. Total respect to this band.

Band: White Ward
Title: Debemur Morti
Label: Debemur Morti Productions
Release date: 25 June 2021
Country: Ukraine
Format reviewed: High-quality Digital Recording

Almost 2 years since the previous release of the album “Love Exchange Failure” and what a masterpiece… White Ward release now the EP “Debemur Morti” and… another masterpiece. This band knows what to do, the Black Metal mix with some Experimental, soft jazz (if that definition exists), the ambiance/atmosphere on the songs… They are unique. Thank you a lot for the music released since the beginning.

Don’t forget to support the bands and labels.
