INSOMNIUM Some of us spend the majority of time sitting around waiting for bands like Insomnium to release new material, and finally the day is almost upon us! This coming Friday, just three days from now, the Finnish melodic metal kings will release their new EP Argent Moon. As the wait has been quite long, one of the tracks The Antagonist is already available here and for all sorts of merch and other goodies you can head over here.

IKARIE Italy’s Avantgarde Music do a great line in dark, experimental Metal. The latest announcement from the label is the atmospheric, Doom-infused sounds of Cuerpos en Sombra, the debut release by Spain’s Ikarie. The album will be out on September 24th. In the meantime there’s a limited vinyl you can pre-order (as well as digital and CD options). check it all out here and three preview tracks of the album.

GLASSING Austin, Texas’ genre hopping Extreme Metal noise-makers will be releasing their third full-length on November 5th on Brutal Panda Records. “My, that’s a long way away” you say, well maybe, but two of the vinyl versions are already sold out, so don’t sleep on this if you want a copy of one of the remaining pressings. Check them and preview tracks out here.

ANOMALIE Don’t be misled by the album title Transformations, the forthcoming album by Germany’s Anomalie ain’t got nothing to do with Trance music, this is soom doomy, Atmospheric Black Metal right here. The album is out November 5th on AOP Records and you can pre-order limited vinyl and CD copies here, check out the cool preview track too.

SULPHUROUS It’s about time for some nasty Danish Death Metal in the shape of Sulphurous and their forthcoming album The Black Mouth of Sepulchre, due out on October 24th on Me Saco Un Ojo Records. Heavy? Check. Technical? Check. There’s two vinyl editions you can pick up here and a preview track to listen to. Don’t dilly dally, they’re selling through quickly.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder. While it’s our default setting to link bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative. So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
