#BAZUndergroundUpdates CXXII

4 min read

It’s a brand new week ladies and gents! Of course, our writers Julia Katrin and Tom Osman aren’t left out of this week and are back at it with a brand new installment of The Underground Updates!

So, let’s see what’s out there…

STEVE VON TILL Last Friday Steve Von Till and his band started the second leg of the No Wilderness Deep Enough tour along with Helen Money in Spokane, WA at Lucky You Lounge. The second leg of the tour goes much further though around the US, and we believe that this is one show you may not want to have passed you by! Head over here to check out the tickets and cities!

KEN MODE The latest tour date announcement of KEN mode includes a bunch of US dates as well as two in Canada, alongside Vile Creature, Mares of Thrace and Frail Body on selected dates! Head over here to check out the locations and book your ticket!

RISING BEAST Summer sale is now live on Bandcamp! Rising Beast is currently offering 40% off with the code summer22 at checkout so head over here in order to help clear up some space for the fall releases!

AGONIA RECORDS Now this offer over at Agolia Records is available for the entire month which gives us 15% off all physical and digital records! Head over here to check out the selection and use the code bandcampdiscount15!

TRANSCENDING OBSCURITY RECORDS Now, here is a giant pill for all of us! Transcending Obscurity Records has brought out a terrific offer that they haven’t had in a really long time. This offer is an all-encompassing one, which is valid on all digital as well as physical, so basically on everything! All we need to do is just use the discount coupon when checking out, either on their main store or on Bandcamp! Head over here and use the code aug2022 at checkout!

FLESHROT With a sound that evokes flesh putrefying, Texan death metal group Fleshrot sure picked a suitable band name. The band’s debut album Unburied Corpse is out now on Me Saco Un Ojo Records. If you’re in the mood for some gruesome, thundering, dirty death metal then check them out here where you can listen to the album in full and buy a copy on CD or vinyl.

CORPSESSED More death metal coming your way from Me Saco Un Ojo Records, this time in the form of Finland’s Corpsessed. Succumb to Rot is the band’s fourth album and the follow up to 2019’s Beyond Abysmal Thresholds. You can pick up a copy here where you can also listen to the album in full.

MAMALEEK Anonymous, experimental black metal unit Mamaleek can go from relaxed moments of beauty to terrifying dissonance without warning. On their forthcoming album Diner Coffee listeners can enjoy the group’s incorporation of varied instrumentation. With the album due on the 30th of September on The Flenser there’s a preview track available here where you can also pre-order the album on coloured vinyl.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder. While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative. So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
