DOCTOR VISOR Recently dark synth/horror metal Doctor Visor released a music video for the track Master of the Unknown, which is one of the tracks from the artist´s last album The Funeral Portrait! If you haven’t seen it yet, head over here to check it out!
DECONSECRATION First track from Deconsecration´s upcoming album Crypt Lurker is out now titled Buried Under the House, and you can head straight over here to check out the video! The album will be out just next month, and so you can also head over here for all further information regarding the upcoming release!
ELIZABETH SHORT What an unassuming band name, but when the first track of your album is called “Putrification of the Stillborn” — as it is on the band’s new album Decayed Stillborn — it shouldn’t be a surprise to hear some grindcore insanity pumping out of your speakers. The name Elizabeth Short is in fact taken from the slain lady otherwise known as The Black Dahlia. Enjoy the fruits of this solo-grindcore project here, where you can pick up a copy.
RITUALIZATION Newly released by Germany’s Iron Bonehead Productions comes a big, meaty slab of dirty, rotten death metal, courtesy of Ritualization and their latest mini-album Hema Ignis Necros. With three tracks spread out across 26 minutes, listeners can look forward to a gnarly extreme metal journey. Listen to the album in full here and pick yourself up a copy.
GROTESQUERIES The solo project of drummer Yianni Tranxidis, Grotesqueries — with debut EP Haunted Mausoleum — has some brutal, hammering, extreme metal nastiness to bore holes in your skull. Out now on Caligari Records, you can listen to the release in full here and buy yourself a copy.
INTENSIVE CARE That We Be Made Worthy is the forthcoming album — due for release on 23 September, on Closed Casket Activities — by Canadian sludge metal/ noise rockers Intensive Care. If the preview track — which you can listen to here — is anything to go by, it’s going to be a joyously grim and gnarly listening experience. Pre-order a vinyl copy from the link above.
