The 99% of people that I know who like/listen to Abhor always say “good Black Metal”. Well for me, not only that. For me Abhor is an amazing Black Metal band, mixed with a LOT of occult, mystery and Heavy Doom music style. They are unique in my opinion. And this album… Oh my. So damn good. Check them.

Even if is not one of my favourite music styles, I already heard many bands playing Technical Death Metal but none like Acausal Evocation. Oh my… The band’s sound, the atmosphere, and the obscure feeling around the songs. The riffs, the tempo changes, the muffled sound, the sick voice… You need to check this band.

Pilot: “We are flying over the enemy, over” Command center: “You have a green light, over” Pilot: “Ok, central control, bombs dropped” BUMMMMMMMM!!!! Well, could be a very good intro for this album. Cause the album starts as a bomb dropped. Fast, furious, devastating everything. And if you think they slow down… Well, sometimes they do, but the album is a pure devastating album, a very good one. And for the first album released… Man, what a bomb.

I decided to get out a bit of my “comfort zone”, not the correct word, but only for you to get an idea, and I decided to give a chance to this band from Liechtenstein, to be more exact the principality of Liechtenstein. A very (very) small country between Austria and Switzerland and a lot of castles and beautiful landscapes, if I’m remembering well from documentaries saw in the past. Moving forward, sorry I was excited talking about history/geography. The band, well, they are not my beach (like we say in my country), or not my cup of tea (worldwide expression), and why is not? Well, the gothic part. Never been a fan of it, but, this band, caught my attention, and not only Gothic here. The band (well the one-man band) went further and mixed some Doom Metal, some Dark Rock, and some (few) Death Metal touches. Nothing new, I know. But is well done, and that is correct and wanted too. Very good music. I spend 1 hour and 6 minutes listening to a very good band/release. Thank you Sliptrick Records for doing the reissue of this only digital album.
