#BAZUndergroundUpdates CXXXVIII

3 min read

It will never cease to amaze our writers Julia Katrin and Tom Osman how quickly the week goes by and they need to be back at it again to bring forth a brand new instalment of The Underground Updates!

So, let’s see what’s out there…

BENEATH MY FEET Slowly, some tracks are being revealed by Beneath My Feet from their upcoming sophomore studio album titled In Parts, Together. This time, a new music video to the track Caught In A Hurricane is now available to watch over here, and make sure when you watch it to place your pre order for the album, scheduled to be released on January 13th via Noble Demon!

HPGD Going on now over at Horror Pain Gore Death Productions is a whopping 35% off all CD´s, vinyl and cassettes by just…shopping! No code necessary, the discount automatically applies at checkout! Head over here to check it out!

REPOSE RECORDS An end of the year sale has began over at Repose Records, so here is a chance to grab your Christmas presents! 15% off on everything with the code 2022 and all you need to do is head right over here!

TREPANATION RECORDINGS Another fabulous sale is going on over at Trepanation Recordings, and therefore a vast majority of CD´s, cassettes and vinyl have been heavily reduced in prices. Make sure you have quick hands though, it’s a clearance sale so if an item runs out of stock the label will not be getting more of that particular item! Head over here now!

BLACK LAVA With a bit of the apocalyptic-rage of Neurosis about them Melbourne, Australia’s Black Lava channel a mix or Black and Death Metal with progressive elements on their album Soul Furnace, out now on Season of Mist. Listen to the album in full here, where you can pick up a copy on various formats — be warned though, they’re selling out fast.

VALVE Paris, France’s Valve definitely have something to them and their newly released four-track album Thermoclines — out now on Moment of Collapse Records — is a powerful blast of thundering, controlled chaos. The album is available on three limited vinyl editions, which you can purchase here, where you can listen to this intense blast of Post-Metal.

SARKASM 33 years seems quite a long time to get round to releasing your debut, but for Canada’s Sarkasm so it goes. Having released a series of EPs in the early nineties, the Death/ Thrash Metal unit will finally release their debut full-length, As Empires Decay, via Spain’s Xtreem Music on the 24th of January 2023. Check out the preview track here where you can pre-order a digital copy. For fans of Gorguts, Death and Pestilence.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder.

While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
