#BAZUndergroundUpdates CXLVI

3 min read

A very special Tuesday is upon us, and it’s of course special because our writers Julia Katrin and Tom Osman are back with a brand-new installment of The Underground Updates!

So, let’s see what’s out there…

REGARDE LES HOMMES TOMBER After having announced several shows for the first half of 2023, the French black metal formation Regarde Les Hommes Tomber has also released a video interview which was recorded during the Noktvrn tour in September of last year, with their label mates Der Weg Einer Freiheit and Bizarrekult! To watch the interview you can head straight over here, and of course keep your eyes open for the tour dates and tickets in France and the Netherlands where the tour will take place!

HELL This coming spring, Hell will embark on a U.S. tour, performing Hell the self-titled album in its entirety! Rumour has it as well that there will be a lot of new merchandise available, so make sure you keep your eyes open to the tour dates and locations! You can check out the tour dates here.

NEGATIVE VORTEX Another week brings another dose of bone-crushing Extreme Metal from Sentient Ruin Laboratories. The latest release from the label is Tomb Absolute by Brazilian Doom/Death Metal duo Negative Vortex. Ready to have your guts punched through to the next zip code? Well, click here where you can listen in full and purchase a copy.

NOTHINGNESS Italy’s Everlasting Spew Records do indeed have a pretty disgusting name, but they aren’t just delivering cheap shocks, they’re providing excellent Extreme Metal too. The latest release is Supraliminal, the second album by experimental Death Metal group Nothingness. This is indeed a tasty treat for your Metal-hungry ears and you should click here right away for a dose of brutalising weirdness.

STREET TOMBS Just announced on Carbonized Records is the forthcoming debut album by Street Tombs. For a slice of Punk-infused Death Metal. Check out the preview track from Reclusive Decay here. The album is due for release on the 17th of February, but you can pre-order a copy on CD, cassette and vinyl right now.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder.

While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
