We suppose you are here because it’s Tuesday and you know what that means!

So, let’s see what’s out there…

THE ARCANE ORDER The new single from The Arcane Order titled The First Deceiver is out now on every platform! Head over here to watch the official video, and here to place your preorder for the album Distortions from Cosmogony, scheduled for a release on June 9th via Black Lion Records!

BLACK LION RECORDS This is officially the last week for the running spring sale over at Black Lion Records, throughout April they have offered us a 50% discount with the code blacklion50 so head right over here to check the selection!

NEUROT RECORDINGS Continuing with one of our favourites, Neurot Recordings has picked a new album for the Pay What You Want segment, and this week’s album is Clearing The Path To Ascend by YOB! Head over here to claim your copy, and simply pay what you want!

DISTANT Definitely having not gone unnoticed, Distant released their latest album Heritage just two months ago via Century Media Records which you can find on Spotify and AppleMusic. To celebrate the release the group is doing a massive Europe/UK tour alongside Extortionists, Dagger Threat and Abbie Falls throughout May! Head over here for some newly released new merch items on their webpage, and you can check the tour dates, tickets and other streaming platforms right over here!

PORTRAYAL OF GUILT Last Friday the European tour started for Portrayal of Guilt as Devil Music is out now! Head over here to give it a listen, and of course over here to claim your ticket to one of their shows!

ARGENTHORNS Strap in for a full-on thematic storytelling journey from Argenthorns with The Ravening out now on Italy’s Avantgarde Music. Citing (early) Dimmu Borgir, Bal-Sagoth, Odium and Limbonic Art, it’s black metal both symphonic and aggressive in form. You can listen to the album in full here and buy a copy on vinyl or CD.

CAR BOMB For anyone who finds Dillinger Escape Plan and Meshuggah just a bit too easy to tap their foot to, there’s the head-spinning alternative metal madness of Car Bomb to keep the brain busy. Like Deftones and Fear Factory had a baby and it had a malfunctioning metronome for a heartbeat. Oh yeah, they have a live album out: Live in Santa Cruz. Check it out here and order a limited vinyl copy. Try running to this.

CABINET First released back in October 2022 the strange, ghastly, lumbering, atmospheric death/doom/black metal beast that is Cabinet will be releasing a special vinyl edition of Pt. III: Get In... (Enter the Cabinet) on Bloody Mountain Records on the 17th of July (my birthday!!). The release page gives the following helpful information about the forthcoming pressing: “12″ black on black 180g for heavy corpse lifting; custom inserts = plenty of paper-cuts to bleed out; poly-gagbag for efficient self-suffocation”. How delightful! You can listen to the album here and pre-order a copy. Feel free to send me one as a birthday present.

PERISHED Reportedly out of print for over 10 years, Dusktone are putting out several limited edition pressings of Norwegian black metal pioneers Perished’s Seid. Click here to listen to and order some nasty black metal with a viking flavour.

Having to pay gigantic sums for international postage is a real gear grinder.

While it’s our default setting to link Bandcamp pages in the case of new and pre-releases, we thought it would be helpful to add some online stores that might provide a useful alternative.

So if you see a release you fancy, but it’s being sold in a far off land and you don’t want to fork out on exorbitant shipping, see if any of the links below can remedy the situation.
