MY MOST PLAYED LIST JANUARY 2019
New year new possibilities, still my January became more of a looking back kind of month, 2018 was a great year for metal and I somehow don’t feel ready to enter this new year. My top list contains some old an some new, but all very very very very good.
TOP 5 (In no particular order):
UNDERGANG – Inhentet af Døden (Denmark)
Dirty underground Death Metal, masterpiece from 2009.
ONE TAIL, ONE HEAD – One Tail, One Head (Norway)
A compilation of old tracks from this beast of no boundaries Black Metal. An amazing band who sadly did a European farewell tour that ended in their hometown last December.
OBLITERATION – Cenotaph Obscure (Norway)
Old school Death Metal, on my top list in January, as it was in December, will it be in my top list in February?
BLACK VIPER – Hellions of Fire (Norway)
Speed / Heavy Metal, I discovered these guys at the Heavy Nights festival in 2017, and in August last year their brilliant debut was released.
GRAVY JONES – Funeral Pyre (Norway)
Doom / Psychedelia / Prog / Rock, don’t know how I missed these guys, far to good to be overlooked. Saw them live at the very end of 2018, instant fan, a proud owner their debut from 2017.
