PROUA METALLIST’S MOST PLAYED IN JANUARY 2019

REALM OF WOLVES – Oblivion (2018)
A stunningly beautiful album full of rich melodies and atmosphere. For me, this was a stand-out release in 2018 and I’m still giving it plenty of play time.

KALMO – Mustaa (2018)
A juicy serving of deliciously dark Finnish doom. I’m eagerly anticipating any new releases from this artist over the coming year.

MOONGATES GUARDIAN – Let Horse be Bridled, Horn be Sounded! (2017)
This atmospheric black metal album is an epic Tolkien-themed odyssey which includes an interesting cover of Blind Guardian’s ‘Lord of the Rings’.

DARGONOMEL – Astazebian (2017)
I am delighted by this perfectly blackened death metal from Russia. Astazebian was a new purchase for me this month and therefore has been on repeat.

TRANSCENDING OBSCURITY RECORDS SAMPLER (2019)
Label samplers are great tools in helping to keep up to date with upcoming releases. This sampler, containing a massive fifty tracks has introduced me to a suite of new artists and has been on high rotation this month.
